Description
Lupinus bingenensis (Bingen lupine), also called Lupinus sulphureous var. bingenensis
A multi-stemmed lupine
This pretty blue-to-purple flowered perennial has multiple stems, with the flowering racemes up to 4″ long. Leaves have 9-11 leaflets and are typically pubescent on both sides, giving the a soft look and feel. Usually grows at a bit higher elevation than here so may appreciate some extra water and/or supplemental water. Photo by Ernie Crediford
