Sedum spathulifolium (Broadleaf Stonecrop)
Rosettes of succulent leaves
This lovely succulent is found in the Columbia River Gorge and western Washington. Leaf color may vary from green to gray green with tinges of pink to red depending on the amount of natural waxes they have. Flower stems extend several inches above the rosettes and bear a cluster of yellow flowers. Spreads by rhizomes and prefers well-drained soil. May need supplemental water only until established.
