Bluebell-of-Scotland is also native to Washington!
Classic bell-shaped blue flowers on slender stems nod above rounded basal leaves. A perennial species, bluebells can spread by seed and by rhizome. It can handle most garden conditions, and prefers a little shade but can handle sun if given supplemental water. Photo by Susan McDougall
