A cluster of cheery yellow sunflowers
A cluster of stems, each topped by one or two bright yellow flowers grow from a taproot. This perennial gradually increases in width with age. Lance-shaped leaves along the stems are somewhat hairy. Can bloom a long time if it gets a little drip irrigation. Photo by Mickie Chamness
