Description
Penstemon eriantherus (fuzzy-tongue penstemon)
A different regionally native penstemon
Fuzzy-tongue penstemon is just now being tried out in our local gardens so we’re still learning what works best for them here. Native to the Northwest across to the Dakotas, this perennial has a noticeably fuzzy staminode or tongue extending from it’s pale lavender to pink to blue blossoms.
