Penstemon euglaucus (Glaucous Penstemon)
Summer bloomer forms a clump of upright flowering stems
The leaves on this perennial are covered with a white waxy powder creating a bluish cast to the leaves. Clustered, upright stems emerge from basal rosettes of leaves. Stems bear 1 or more dense clusters of blue-purple flowers. This species is rhizomatous but not unduly so. Photo by G.D. Carr
