Description
Ericameria nauseosa (Gray rabbitbrush)
Bright yellow flowers feed bees in late summer and fall
Gray rabbitbrush forms a gray-green mound for most of the year, but in fall it is almost hidden beneath all its bright yellow flowers. It provides a great source of food for pollinators in the fall when other sources are starting to wane. Can get leggy and weak stemmed with too much water. Can be pruned before spring growth if desired. Photo by Carol Coker
