Festuca idahoensis (Idaho fescue)
Erect, fine-bladed bunchgrass
Idaho fescue grows as a dense bunch of fine-bladed green to bluish-green stems. The delicate seedheads add visual texture and interest long after the seeds are gone. Normally grows in slightly cooler areas – a little extra water will keep it green through the summer. Photo from L&H Seeds.
