Penstemon rydbergii (Rydberg’s Penstemon)
Purple flowers
This perennial penstemon is found in the hills around Ellensburg and in the Blue Mountains in moister areas. Flower stems bear several whorls of bright bluish-purple flowers above a basal rosette of leaves up to 6″ long. Blooms May-July. Photo by Ben Legler
