Small, Tufted Bunchgrass
A short statured, long-lived bunchgrass that can grow in most local soil types and does not require additional water. This cool season bunchgrass starts greening up in late fall, produces seeds by late April and goes dormant in May. One of the two most important bunchgrasses of the Columbia Basin.
