Description
Delphinium burkei (Tall Meadow Larkspur)
A lovely blue larkspur
This perennial species, found in most eastern Washington counties, lives in areas that are moist in the spring but dry out in the summer. Green leaves are toothed and covered with fine hairs. Tall erect flower stems form a spike of beautiful blue flowers. Plant goes dormant in the summer. New to gardens in our area, we’re looking forward to seeing how it does. NOTE: will be dormant and pot may look empty, but the roots have been checked and look healthy.
