Penstemon attenuatus (Taperleaf Penstemon)
Tall spikes of color above basal slender green leaves
Found in the Blue Mountains, this penstemon has multiple stems full of flowers that range from blue-purple to almost white. Flower stems grow that grow up to 36 ” tall from a crown under good conditions. Leaves are bright green and taper gradually to a slender tip. Blooms in late spring.
