Description
Penstemon wilcoxii (Wilcox’s Penstemon)
Multiple stems bearing loose clusters of blue flowers
Multiple stems extend from a woody base and bear loose clusters of blue tubular flowers. Leaves along the stems are 1-2 inches wide tapering to a slender tip with fine teeth along the edge. Seeds used to grow these plants were purchased from a grower outside the US; these plants and their seeds should not be used in wild plantings. Photo by Craig Althen
